What a joyful little place this is! Found during a casual meander homeward after a weekend away (irrelevant, but sets the scene) we enjoyed a rather nice cup of coffee and - of course - a fine piece of cake. Clean rustic decor in a converted farm outbuilding, this is the perfect setting for a break from whatever you're doing. A small and cosy mezzanine looks nice for a bit of elevated privacy; probably not used by the clearly many cyclists who clatter in for a well deserved cuppa. Staff are lovely, and there's art on the walls should you wish to indulge in such things (also available in other outlets on site). Not a lot else to say really, because quite simply it's really rather nice.

Great breakfast, lovely setting. Happily swopped sourdough (yuk!) for delicious granary toast for my avocado and eggs. Highly recommended.

Have eaten here a few times and also stopped for coffee and cake. The lasagne is really good and so too are the cakes. Dog friendly, which is great.
